For more than a quarter of a century the B100 Cursa dels\u00a0Nassos<\/strong> has been the most festive way to say goodbye to the year in Barcelona. Inspired by the figure of the \u201cHome\u00a0dels\u00a0Nassos\u201d, a character from Catalan folklore who appears on 31\u00a0December with as many noses as there are days left in the year, the race invites thousands of runners to close the season with a fast course and an athletic party in the heart of the city. The 2025 edition arrives stronger than ever and promises to break participation and performance records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What makes the\u00a02025 edition special?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Barcelona City Council and B100\u00a0The\u00a0Healthy\u00a0Banking, the main sponsor, have confirmed that the Cursa dels\u00a0Nassos\u00a02025<\/strong> is close to selling out. With one month to go, registrations are running ahead of previous years and organisers expect to reach 13\u00a0000 participants<\/strong>, which would make the race one of the largest 10\u00a0K events in Spain. The 2025 programme repeats the two distances of recent editions: a 10\u00a0K mass race<\/strong> open to runners of all levels and an international 5\u00a0K<\/strong> reserved for elite athletes, a race that has produced four world records in the past four years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The proximity of the race doesn\u2019t mean you can\u2019t improve your preparation. The organisers have arranged weekly training sessions open to all levels during November and December. In addition, on Tuesday, 9\u00a0December at\u00a07\u00a0pm<\/strong>, a free macro\u2011training session<\/strong> will be held at the La\u00a0Mar\u00a0Bella sports complex, featuring national coaches and Olympic and Paralympic athletes to advise participants.
